Nalini has been learning Bharatanatyam from Mohyna Dookun at Jhankaar School of Dance for four years but has been dancing for many, having studied ballet, tap, jazz, musical theatre and modern dance. She also has extensive experience in music and theatre, performing in many festivals with different companies, including Mkululiko, Assiniboine Theatre, Black Hole Theatre, Flying Eggs, River's Edge, Rainbow Stage and Manitoba Theatre Centre. Nalini's role as the Emperor in La Bayadère – The Temple Dancer was her first performance with Manohar. She has also appeared in Steps and Echoes.
